Short (1-3 hour) Storytelling Workshops
These workshops are designed to provide a fun, hands-on exploration of storytelling. Participants are invited to consider themselves as storytellers, with important stories to share. How do we tell stories in a good way? How can we be good “story-catchers”? Workshops are tailored to the group and can include activities such as:
Storytelling games (story drawings, memory mapping, practicing appreciative listening, storytelling prompts)
Button-making - can you tell a story in a space the size of a button?
Zines - Introductions to Zines and exercises for participants to make a simple Zine of their own.
These workshops work well for all ages. They are designed to foster a safe and appreciative space to explore simple personal stories, with options to keep one’s story for one’s self or share as desired.
